Overview
Stewardship is how we use God's gifts for God's world. God the Creator owns everything. It's God's world. The "bottom line" in stewardship is not about balancing church budgets. It is about lives in balance. It's about personal and family and congregational and denominational lives that flow from what God is calling us to be, living out a Spirit-empowered vision of what God's world can be.
Giving: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you. (Deuteronomy 16:17)
Examples of How to Give & Serve using our time and talents
Volunteering to serve with any of the groups within the church
Volunteering on a Sunday morning - in choir, sunday school, as a reader or greeter at the door
Volunteering during community events such as Soups On in Lent
Volunteering in the wider community - Helping Hand, visiting with or calling those who are ill or lonely
Financial Giving
For your convenience, offering envelopes are available upon request. Until you receive them, you can place cash or checks (payable to either Central or Trinity United) in a plain envelope with your name, address, and contact information, and place it in the offering plate during our Sunday services. Alternately, you can also mail your envelope to our church office at P.O.Box 29, Bay Roberts, NL, A0A 1G0.
Pre-authorized Debit
Your giving can be simplified by authorizing an automated deposit of funds for your regular tithing and offering contributions. You may choose monthly or twice-monthly transfers from your bank account directly to the church account. Simply fill out the "Pre-Authorized Debit Form" available from the Church Office. Submit the form in person or via mail. Once we receive your form, we will contact you to confirm the information. You may discontinue the debits at any time.
If you would like for us to mail you a supply of personal envelopes for your tithe and offerings, please email our secretary at [email protected].
